What happens next
STEP 01
We read your application.
Every partner reads it. Within fourteen days, you get a response that is either 'yes, let's talk,' 'no, here's why,' or 'tell us more about X.'
STEP 02
One 45-minute conversation.
With one of the four partners. Not a panel, not a group exercise. A conversation about what you'd build, with whom, and why now.
STEP 03
A second conversation, with the cohort lead.
Roughly half of first-conversation candidates make it to this round. The cohort lead is the person you'd see weekly for the year.
STEP 04
Offer, references, start date.
If we say yes, you get a written offer the same week. You start within 30 days of accepting.

No. Roughly half of every cohort starts solo.

No. Phase 01 is designed to find one.
What does K2 own?+
Nothing in Phase 01 or 02. Our capital converts at the priced round you close in Phase 03 — typically into 4–7 % of the entity.
What's the time commitment?+
Full-time. Twelve months. No side roles.
